Continuous Miner

Application:

The lnstitute has come up with the applicatior scenarios of the continuous miner based on the research on and field practice of the co ontinuous mining technology under various coal seam conditions in recent years.

1. It is applicable to coal seams with buried de pth less than 500 m.

2. It is applicable to coal seams with an inclinat tion of less than 10° and not exceeding 16° locally.

3. It is applicable to medium hard coal seams v with medium stability on the roof and floor.

4. lt is applicable to coal seams with a thickne ss of 2.0-5 m and a simple structure.

5. It is applicable to the mining of coals und der buildings, railways, and water bodies, residual coal pillars and areas not suitable fo or fully-mechanized long-wall mining.

6. It is applicable to low gaseous coal seams.
